Concrete and Steel Protection

Concrete and steel remediation. Concrete deterioration from age and environment is a factor in the reduced life of roadways and bridges, structures and buildings. Proper and appropriate materials and application of materials to stop the degradation and corrosion to aid in extending life and reducing risk. Concrete in plants and municipalities from load, wear and abrasion to chemical attack are in need of attention and action to keep from total replacement and failure. Concrete repairs to cover exposed steel reinforcing (rebar); materials to provide safety for consumers and vehicles in parking garages and under bridge decks; Repairing pot holes and cracks to prevent further degradation and expanding issues and costs.

Corrosion resistant or corrosion proof materials – application specific – can be applied to stop additional issues and attack, while extending the life, and making the structure stronger and safer. Most times, the fix is stronger than the concrete. The fix is more resistant to the freeze / thaw cycles and can withstand a wide range of chemicals and corrosives.

Treating corroding steel is much often less expensive than replacement. Preparing steel, and applying coatings to prevent oxidation; chemical attack and thinning of the metal is critical to saving time and money. These treatments can be considered safety and environmental necessities.

High temp paints; corrosion resistant paints; commercial structural steel coatings; concrete coatings (thin and build); decorative and architectural; functional and industrial.
